All single and multi-residential dwellings need to meet energy efficiency requirements for building approval. Projects in NSW require a BASIX Assessment and may also need a NatHERS rating. Projects for the rest of Australia require a NatHERS Rating to the current standard. EcoResults is fully qualified and accredited to conduct BASIX Assessments and energy ratings under the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS).
An EcoResults accredited consultant will assess your design to ensure that you comply with the regulations. We then issue a report and stamp your plans showing compliance with the current NCC requirement, for you to include with your building permit application. Consultation with your designer or building surveyor during the assessment is included.

A growing number of projects need an energy rating of above the minimum NCC requirements due to client brief or Council requirements. For example Councils may have a Best Practice target of 10% better than NCC requirements, which equates to 6.6 stars or more. Or Government housing briefs may call for a 7 or 8 star NatHERS rating.
